CGL Tunbridge Wells is there to support service users who have found themselves with problems due to drugs and alcohol, in the Tonbridge & Malling, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks areas. In April 2012 the contract for these services was awarded to the CGL and the service currently offers a wide range of support for anyone suffering problems around drugs and alcohol.
We support service users right through treatment and beyond. We are developing a recovery community and service users accessing our service come into our recovery community. We also have a team of Peer Mentors who understand and have experienced the recovery process for themselves and are now an integral part of the support that is provided here. We provide a range of activities and support from structured workshops to social activities. We also signpost to other support services in the area, including housing, health and mutual aid support such as AA and NA.
