CGL Maidstone is there to support service users who have found themselves with problems due to drugs and alcohol. This service was based at Mill Street, Maidstone and supports service users in Maidstone area. In April 2012 the contract for these services was awarded to the CGL and the service currently offers an open access service and a wide range of support for anyone suffering problems around drugs and alcohol.

We support service users right through treatment and beyond. We are developing a recovery community and service users accessing our service come into our recovery community. We also have a team of Peer Mentors who understand and have experienced the recovery process for themselves and are now an integral part of the support that is provided here. We provide a range of activities and support from structured workshops to social activities. We also signpost to other support services in the area, including housing, health and mutual aid support such as AA and NA.
